Aircraft Instruments & Avionics

for A&P Technicians

* One of the problems facing a modern aircraft maintenance technician is knowing all the variations on a theme! There are dozens of different methods for measuring on-board fuel in an aircraft, from simple float systems to advanced capacitance systems with digital displays. The technician must know how to analyze any system that is presented to him, from fuel management to autopilots. The same goes for all the other measurement/display systems in the aircraft that may be based on thermocouples, proximity switches, piezo-electric sensors, computers, and antennae. This book is based on material prepared by Canadair for use in Challenger training programs. Take a look at the Table of Contents!
