This is easily the weather book with the nicest illustrations! It's a good choice for the new private, commercial, or IFR student who wants an enhanced package for weather studies. It's a massive 410-page hard-cover effort, with over 300 amazing illustrations, covering every likely weather phenomenon that the average pilot will encounter. But more than that, this book explains the nature of the complex and difficult weather that pilots must master when flying advanced aircraft. Modern aircraft have no trouble handling difficult weather, but weather can still be treacherous if not managed carefully. To do so requires a deep understanding of the nature of the weather beast. This is a magnificent weather book for any aspiring aviator!
