The Dalton-type E6-B flight computer is the standard manual navigation computer used in aviation, and
occasionally, by boaters. It calculates any rate problem (for example,
rate-of-climb, rate-of-fuel-consumption, rate-of-groundspeed. It also
calculates drift which you need to know if you're trying to figure out
where to point the nose of your craft.
These all-metal ASA E6B models will last a lifetime. They don't deteriorate if wet or if they're baked in the sun. They may, in fact, last longer than a lifetime. Your kids may fight over who gets it after you're gone. Added Bonus: E6B's never need batteries! |
