This series of books was produced to meet the unique Canadian requirement for bilingual content in aviation human factors training texts. This volume applies more particularly to pilots who fly commercially, and to those pilots who fly more complicated high-performance aircraft. As such, this book is similar to the Jeppesen or Iowa State Press versions (those versions not being available in the French language). Jeppesen also offers the excellent United Airlines CRM video Crew Resource Management for airline-level flight crew review. Being published by the Canadian Government, this particular Human Factors book meets its main requirement (bilingual availability) first, and its technical content second. Knowledgable users and curriculum developers should consider whether their need is for bilingual content or technical depth when selecting this title. |
