Hey - a fuel tester is a fuel tester is a fuel
tester. This one has an unbreakable brass "pokey" for use on Cessna
sump drains. And it also has a unique stowable handle on the side
which keeps the fuel from running down your arm when you're lying
on your belly on the tarmac pre-flighting your Mooney M21. This is
a good feature. We're not sure of who uses the Phillips
screw-driver bits (like, do pilots unscrew all 85 cowl screws when
doing their pre-flight)? We have extensively interviewed hundreds
of pilots on this topic and have yet to find a pilot who has used
the screw-driver bits for anything ever since pocket-size electric
screw-drivers were invented. Ever! However, as a fuel
tester, it works just fine!
Most of all, when using this fuel tester, any escaping fuel doesn't run down your arm and soak your shirt-sleeve. It ALL goes into the fuel tester. And that's a good thing! |
