The Flight Training Video Series
takes us into the air in standard training aircraft with hands-on
demonstrations enhanced by clear graphic illustrations and models.
The nature of climbs, descents and turns is examined in detail,
building on the lessons of the first two videos in this series. The
student pilot is now gaining a clear understanding of how all the
separate elements translate into aeronautical action. Getting an
aircraft to do what you want is more than just pointing the nose in
the direction you want to go. Often, to the student pilot, it
appears that the aircraft doesn't want to do things the way that
that the pilot wishes. This video begins to pull together the
elements that show the student pilot how it all works together.
ATP's Flight Training Video Series, based on the Flight Training Manual, has been created by experienced flight instructors and airline pilots, and is especially useful for the primary phase of flight training, both for the Recreational Licence, and the Private Pilot licence. There are ten ½-hour videos in this series:
