Exceptional detail:

This is where things begin when you first board the aircraft. If it's a cold dark aircraft you will switch the main ship's battery to the on position. You will then check the volts and amps with the DC Meter source selector (see below). You will now switch to the APU battery source and see if that battery is up to the task of starting the APU located in the tail of the aircraft. * Note that this detail is from the screen shown above. When you click on any portion of a panel, the image is magnified to this extent! This, for example, is where you will monitor the DC Volts and Amps on the aircraft systems. If the APU Battery is selected you will actually see the volts drop during the APU Startup and when auto start is accomplished at 50% RPM the volts will start coming up again.
