* Jeppesen has introduced a simplified group of pilot training kits. The simplified kits are known as "Part 61 kits".

The Part 61 Instrument/Commercial Pilot Kit is developed for FAR Part 61 training programs. The Part 61 schools are used by pilots who may be unable to attend a tightly scheduled Part 141 training program, and require slightly more training time. This is the bare minimum for Instrument/Commercial Pilot training! It contains the following materials:

  • Instrument Rating Knowledge Test Guide
  • Commercial Pilot Knowledge Test Guide
  • Instrument Rating PTS (Practical Test Standards)
  • Commercial Pilot Airplane SEL/Sea PTS (Practical Test Standards)
  • Introduction to Jeppesen Navigation Charts
NOTE: The Jeppesen Pilot Bag is not included in this kit. The bag is only included in the Instrument/Commercial Part 141 Kit
