The fuel-efficient Katana is widely used in flight
training around the world. It may not be as plentiful as aircraft
from Cessna and Piper, but wherever it's used it tends to be a most
popular aircraft. One of the reasons is that it's a nice handling
airplane, plus it's cheap - and it's fast (that sounds like a whole
lot of reasons). In addition, the turbo-charged Katanas can fly up
to 20,000'ASL (about 7,000' higher than a C172 or Warrior).
The realistic flight dynamics were proven by real Katana pilots.
