The FAA's Aviation Weather text has been a consistently used reference by US flying schools for decades. The reason is that it contains all the basics of weather experienced by the lower 48 states, and provides a good basic reference for pilots flying in this area. It's a bit weak on Arctic or Alaskan weather, but otherwise it's a very complete primary weather text. |
