The Canadian Flight Instructor Rating is a
combination of two streams:
- Commercial Pilot Knowledge
- Teaching and Curriculum Knowledge
The flight instructor is expected to know everything that the
commercial pilot knows, plus he's expected to know how to present
it and teach it. Therefore this manual builds on the main volume of
Canadian Professional Pilot Studies, and
expands on the Transport Canada Flight Instructor Manual. It
includes both aeroplane and helicopter categories. Everything
required for the Canadian Flight Instructor knowledge test i
included in the two volume. If you already have the main volume
from your Commercial Pilot training program, you need only this
supplement to finish the instructor program. |
