The Canadians and the Americans are totally reasonable about sharing their regs for free (although they didn't used to be) - we had to shame the Canucks into delivering their regs at a reasonable cost (FREE!). Transport Canada for a long time had this thing about making a business out of selling their regs (already paid for by the taxpayers), but after relentless pounding by us, they've finally given up on that hokey business model. The Europeans, however, not only wear face-shields when they play hockey, but they're also still trying to sell their taxpayer-funded regulations for a whole lot of money.

The Americans have always been the leaders when it comes to giving regs away for free, and we owe them a big thank-you for still being the leaders in free aviation stuff.
